Testosterone replacement therapy is used in those with low or suboptimal testosterone levels. There are 2 forms:
Topical Testosterone: recommended to apply on the skin around the arm, safe, no needle & no pain, needed to apply daily to keep a stable hormone level and might take longer than injection to see results
Injectable Testosterone: rapid results, but need to be injected at the clinic every 2-3 weeks or every 3 months (depend on the type of testosterone)
